Unconditional Earth

"Realize that you are supported by the earth and that this support is unconditional--there is nothing you have to do. All that is required is recognizing what is already obvious -- the being-ness of your experience. Realize also that your body is made from the same substances as those of the earth and its atmosphere, and that everything you have or are at the physical level is somehow dependent on an exchange with the earth and the life it sustains. As a breathing being, you are part of organic life on earth interconnected with everything that exists."--Dennis Lewis, Breathe into Being: Awakening To Who You Really Are

Compendium. Spring. April.2012

There is a world of difference between Transforming one's shadow into Light, and translating the shadow as a form of light- in fact, they are perpendicular processes whose exclusivity antagonize against one another-

Transformation being the Movement of Authenticity, and translation being the modality of the mutation of appearance.

When in Partnership, these Processes of Consciousness and Embodiment Consummate into the Harmonic Expression of Life.

When made manifest in the space of dilemma, however, their conflict facilitates the replication and fortification of self-definitive boundary conditions.

We must be extremely careful that the Evolution in Being we believe is occurring is not merely a change of facade.

Momentum alone is insufficient to determine the Quality of Change-

Awakening is the Act of Recognizing Essence, while Evolution depends upon our Ability to Discern the variations in Direction.

Any experience can be employed as a reinforcement of self-validation; any movement may be manipulated into an intricate and enticing dance of illusion; any method, mode, or particular path work of expression can be woven into a new veil obstructing the Portal into Truth, obscuring the Field of Liberation.

The Curtain separating one from the Inner Sanctuary is Originally Empty of obstructive quality- Existence Itself makes it so.

But the Seamstress resides within you- and She never tires of bringing Her Art to Fruition, of putting Her Skill to the Good Purpose of the Play of Enlightenment:

Become the Creation,

and Pass Through in a Single Effortless Gesture of Transcendent Elegance.

The Portal is Open;

Welcome What Comes Through.

This Is the Beginning,

and Only the Beginning.

Here and Now,

Spirit Is

Born Into the Real.

There is but One who Knows.

This One is the Source of all manifest things and beings.

The Eye of Authenticity must Be Opened

for Resonance with the Knower to be possible.

Without such Resonance, there is no Hope but that which can be replicated from out of the abundance of delusion and desire, and all apparent novelty is merely a mimicry in disguise.

The degree to which one cannot Discern between Essence and appearance is the degree to which one is enslaved.

Even if one's certificate of slavery is written on silk, and etched in the finest calligraphy, this is no reason for cheer-

Freedom is not a decoration, neither is Truth a satisfaction:

The Reality of Liberation is the Natural Posture of Being,

but Its Activity is founded upon the eradication of dependent self-existence.

There is no more effective way of orienting the Search to the condition of limitation than to identify with the need for comfort, pleasure, and satisfaction.

Enlightenment depends upon only one thing: the Radical Recognition of the difference between Awakening and the mere alteration of the dream.

Consciousness Is the Source-Atmosphere.

Existence Is the Qualitative Fundament whose Primary Emanations are the Reflective Compliments,

Authenticity and Reality-

the 'Subject' and 'Object' of Being.

All beings are unique patterns of

Intersecting Quality and Authenticity

vibrating forth within

the Oceanic Afterbirth of Conscious Creation.

Spirit Is

the Light of God at Play

in the Field of the Tender Mystery of Grace.

Be At Intimacy

with This Very Moment-

It Is,

At Its Heart,

the Essence of All That Is Holy.

Zen & the art of Disentangling

Disentangling oneself
From desire and evil ways
Requires both vision and wisdom.
Disentangling oneself from the world
And discovering inner joy
Is the start of meditation.

Prayer to Buddha s

Oh Buddhas
Of unexcelled complete enlightenment,
Bestow your invisible aid
Upon this hut I open
On the mountain top.

Meditation & Swimming

In meditation we leave
The fires of defilement
For the coolness of clear samadhi.
And this feels just like the joy
Of falling into cool, clear water
After burning in the heat of the sun.

In this dhyana one does not
accept selfish pleasures,
one does not seek any reward,
and one is not moved by karmic records.

One enters dhyana solely for the
purpose of establishing one's mind.

And then, out of wisdom,
one returns to life in the desire realm
for the purpose of helping all
sentient beings achieve liberation.

This dhyana is called the paramita of concentration.

- Mahaprjnaparamita Sutra

How we experience Life says something about ourelves !

It is not what we experience that says something about ourselves, but how we experience. It is not what happens but how we respond or react to what happens that reveals who we believe we are. Do you think, feel or act in ways which show that you are the soul in charge of your life, or a victim of life’s challenges?
