Do only one thing, that
"I Amness" or consciousness is the Godliest principle;

it is there only so long as the vital breath is there - it is presently your nature.

You worship that only.

~ Nisargdatta Maharaj

Understand that it is not the individual which has consciousness, it is the consciousness which assumes innumerable forms.

That something which is born or which will die is purely imaginary.

It is the child of a barren woman.

~ Nisargdatta Maharaj

Stop identifying with the 'ego'. If you can convince yourself: "This 'little self' is not really me", it will just disappear. The 'ego' is something which only appears to be real. If you can understand that it has no real existence, it will disappear, leaving behind it the experience of the real and only Self. If you can understand that this 'ego' never at any time had any existence outside your imagination, you will not be concerned about ways and means of getting rid of it.

Annamalai Swami.

The state we call realization is simply being oneself, not knowing anything or becoming anything. If one has realized, he is that which alone is, and which alone has always been. He cannot describe that state. He can only be That. Of course, we loosely talk of Self-realization for want of a better term. That which is, is peace. All that we need do is to keep quiet. Peace is our real nature. We spoil it. What is required is that we cease to spoil it.

Bhagavan.

Ramana-Advaita-Zen Oneness
" All, including the world seen by you and yourself, the seer of the world, is ONE only.

All that you consider as I, you, he, she and it, is ONE only."

Correcting oneself is correcting the whole world. The Sun is simply bright. It does not correct anyone. Because it shines, the whole world is full of light. Transforming yourself is a means of giving light to the whole world.

~ Ramana Maharshi ??

Keep quiet.

Do your work in the world, but inwardly keep quiet.

Then all will come to you.

 Do not rely on your work for realization.

It may profit others, but not you. Your hope lies in keeping silent in your mind and quiet in your heart.

Q- How to reach the Self?
A: External activities (mind)
B: Deep meditation going beyond mind's waking, dream& deep sleep states.
__

No external activity can reach the inner self;
worship and prayers remain on the surface only.

To go deeper meditation is essential, the striving to go beyond the states of sleep, dream and waking.

In the beginning the attempts are irregular, then they recur more often, become regular, then continuous and intense, until all obstacles are conquered.

 ~ Nisargadatta Maharaj

Everyone is aware of themselves.

The deepening and broadening of self-awareness is the royal way.

Call it mindfulness, or witnessing, or just attention - it's for all.

No one is unripe for it and none can fail.

But, of course, you must not just be alert - your mindfulness must include the mind also!

Witnessing is primarily awareness of consciousness and its movements.

~ Nisargadatta Maharaj
